Software priced per seat does not fit a QC desk
Quality control is bursty. A roastery grades nothing for a fortnight and then grades forty samples the week a container clears customs; an import lab's load follows the harvest calendar, not the billing calendar. A per-seat monthly licence charges the quiet weeks at the same rate as the busy ones, which is why so much QC tooling ends up cancelled in March.
We do not sell a subscription. BeanGrader is credit-based: an analysis costs a credit, credits come in one-time packs that do not expire, and larger packs cost less per analysis. A team buys volume when the harvest lands and carries whatever is left into the next one.

How volume works
Buy the harvest, not the month
Live pack sizes and prices are on the pricing section below, served from our credits API rather than restated here, where they would quietly go stale.
Credits, not seats
One analysis costs one credit. It makes no difference whether one person on the desk or six spend them, so nobody has to ration access to a licence.
Packs do not expire
A balance bought in October is still there in March. Off-season is not something you pay for.
Volume brings the unit cost down
Larger packs price each analysis lower. That is the whole discount mechanism; there is no negotiated tier and no minimum.
A rejected photo is refunded
When a sample photo cannot be graded properly we reject it and return the credit automatically, so a bad frame does not cost the team anything.

Every flagged bean comes back as a crop. A disputed call is a photograph both sides can look at.
